Q. Do you have a standard size of mezzanine?
A. No, every platform is designed to your individual requirements.
Q. Can I put this heavy machine on it?
A. Yes, if you give us the details of the machine we can design around
it.
Q. Can people work on it?
A.. Yes
Q. What is a standard column grid?
A. A standard economical column grid is approx. 4m x 3.5m.
Q Can you span across my 10m wide building with no middle columns?
A. Yes, we can achieve any column grid as long as there is steel suitable
to achieve it.
Q. What is a standard height?
A. We can design to any height, usually most platforms are around
3m high.
Q. Can I have 2 platform levels?
A. Yes, these are called 2 tier platforms.
Q. Do I require planning permission?
A. Not usually, but you do require Building Regulations Approval.
Q. Do I require Building Regulations Approval?
A. Yes, and we are happy to make the application on your behalf.
Q. Can you build over my congested workshop and stores?
A. Yes, anything is possible, We will plan our installation around
the site conditions and provide specialist lifting equipment if required.
We always agree an installation programme before work commences on
site.
Q. I can’t stop my production, can you work out of hours?
A. Yes we can work out of hours if required.
Q. What is the floor made of?
A. The decking is generally 38mm P6 high density particle board, although
other options are available on request, including steel chequer plate,
open mesh flooring and plywood.
Q. How quickly can I have a quote?
A. Generally we give a rough quote to your approximate sizes within
a couple of hours.
Q. Can you come to see me to discuss my requirements?
A. Yes we are happy to arrange a visit at a time to suit you.
Q. When can we commence installation on site?
A. Generally our lead time is 2-3 weeks from receipt of your order
and approval of our drawing.
